RESOLUTIOn.NO. 4905 BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBrlde, Usher, <br /> Wendling, Werner, Brockman, Graber <br /> <br />~ RESOLUTION accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget CommissiOn <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council in accordance with the provisions of law has previously <br />adopted a tam budget for the next succeeding fiscal year commencing January 1, <br />and <br /> <br />1973,: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Commission of Cuyahoga Coun.ty, State of Ohio, has certified its <br />action thereon to this Council together with an estimate by the County Auditor of <br />the rate of each tax necessary to be levied by this Council, and what part thereof <br />is without, and what part is within, the 10 mill tax limitation; therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the amounts and rates, as determined by the Budget Commission in <br />its certification, be and the same are hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of this Council be and she is hereby directed to Certify <br />a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of said County. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to adopt and certify to the County <br />Auditor the City's acceptance of the levies of taxes to be made on the 1972 duplicate <br />for collection in 1973 in order to comply with the statutes of the State and to <br />provide sources of reven~e for municipal operation during 1973., and provided it <br />receives the affi.rmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~ ~., /~?~ <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
