RESOLUTION NO. 4927 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Wendling, Werner, Brockman, <br />Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works to enter into a requirement contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of materials for use in street repair and on other City-owned <br />properties, for a period of one year commencing April 1, 1973. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />viding for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into ~ requirement contract or con- <br />tracts for the purchase of materials for use in street repair and <br />on other City-owned properties for a period of one (1) year commencing <br />April 1, 1973, in accordance with the list of such materials on file <br />in the office of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President~/ <br /> <br />· Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
