RESOLUTION NO. 4955 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Werner, Graber, Magnotto, McBride~ <br /> Usher, Sinagra <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of a sewer rodding <br />machine for the Department of Streets. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution*constitutes an emergency measure <br />in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> <br />OF OHIO~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of a sewer rodding machine and for the sale or trade- <br />in of the present equipment for such new vehicle with the lowest and <br />best bidder after advertisement according to law, <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force in~nediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the May~~:~]~ <br /> <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
