RESOLUTION NO. 4956~ BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Sinagra, Usher, Werner, <br /> Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to <br />advertise for bids for the renovation of the Old Stone House. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Lakewood Historical Society in <br />conjunction with the City of Lakewood to p~oceed with such alterations and <br />improvements, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized <br />to advertise for bids for the renovation of the Old Stone House including the <br />construction of a complete basement including footings, drains and roughed in <br />electrical work, support for the house, installation of outside stairwell, re- <br />location and resizing of existing furnace and ductwork, providing water supply <br />into the house with provision for janitors closet and making the necessary <br />provisions for airconditioning to be installed in the future. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
