RESOLUTION NO. 4967 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Werner, Brockman, Graber, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract for accepting and disposing <br />of mixed refuse of the City of Lakewood by truck hauling or railroad <br />carloads for a period of three years, cormmencing November 1, 1973, and <br />terminating October 31, 1976. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the publ£c health and for <br />the. usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract for accepting and disposing <br />of mixed'refuse of the City of Lakewood by truck hauling or railroad <br />carloads for a period of three years, commencing November 1, 1973 and <br />terminating October 31, 1976, with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according tolaw. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the ~e~ble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect ~d be in force i~ediately <br />upon its ~option and approval by the M~or. <br /> <br />Approved :~~~ ~Z~/? ~._~ <br /> <br />/ PreSident <br /> Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
