RESOLUTION NO. 4991 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for Alum, Ferric <br />Chloride or Ferrous Chloride, Pebble Lime and Liquid Chlorine, for a <br />period of one year commencing April 1, 1974. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, tbis resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be an~ he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract for <br />the purchase of liquid chlorine, pebble lime, ferrous chloride or ferric <br />chloride and alum, for a period of one year commencing April 1, 1974 <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force ~m~diately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the May~ <br /> <br /> e <br /> <br />Approved:¥~~ .~z/~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
