RESOLUTION NO. ~996 <br /> <br />By: Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Public <br /> Works to enter in to a contract for the razing and clearing of buildings <br /> located at 14770 Lakewood Heights Boulevard and at 2280 Warren Road in <br /> the City of Lakewood,~Ohio. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood Council has requested the Director <br /> of Public Works to construct an entirely new ice rink facility on the above <br /> listed parcels of land, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is immediately necessary to remove said structures <br /> in Qrder to proceed with the construction of the ice rink facility, now <br /> therefore, <br /> <br /> OF OHIO: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOO8, STAI'E <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br /> hereby authorized and directed toL~enter into a contract for the razing <br /> and clearing of the above listed buildings, with the lowest and best <br /> bidde~ after advertisement according to law. ' <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the cost Of said work shall be paid from the <br />Winterhurst Improvement Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This resolution shall <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval take effect and be in force <br />period allowed by law. by the~and it the earliest <br /> <br /> <br />
