RESOLUTION NO. 5006 <br /> Sinagra, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into <br />a contract or contracts for the purchase of various items of motor vehicle <br />equipment for the Department of Public Works <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution provides for the immediate preservation <br />of the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of <br />municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the pur- <br />chase of the following motor vehicle equipment: <br /> Three (3) 8-ton Dump Trucks for the Street Department <br /> Two (2) 1-1/2 ton Dump Trucks for the Street Department <br /> Two (2) Packer Trucks for the Refuse Department <br /> One (1) 1-1/2 ton Pick-Up Truck for the Refuse Department <br /> One (1) 1-1/2 ton Dump Truck for the Park Department <br /> One (1) 1-1/2 ton Dump Truck for Waste Water Treatment Plant <br /> One (1) Backhoe for the Water Department <br /> One (1) Air Compressor for the Water Department <br /> and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment for such new vehicles, with <br /> the lowest and best bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> Section 2.
