RESOLUTION NO. 5060 BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chlnnock, Graher~ Magnotto, McBride, Sinagrs, Usher AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and.directzng the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assess~ ment levied on permanent parcel number 315-03-61, and known for street numbering purposes as 1622 Parkwood Road, Lakewood, Ohio, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's recordg and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1975 th:rough 1977. WHEREAS, the City of Lskewood has special assessment charged agaznst the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 36-73, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 5, 1973, and WHEREAS~ the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied oa said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohzo, and WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CII~ OF LAIiEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: SectiOn 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $150.]8 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1975, 1976 and 1977~ of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 315-03-61 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 36-73, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 5, 1973. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereznbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth zn Sectzon 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1975, 1976 and 1977, levzed under Ordinance No. 36-73, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 5, 1973, on permanent parcel number 315-03-61 on the County Auditor's Records and further described as being in the Woodsite Land Companys Parkwood Subdivzsion, Volume 65, page 32, each annual assessment being in the amount of $50.06. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cnyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affi=mative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon i ts2~d-~tion and a~r~al by the M~yor. ~ ~7~: ~~/~ Adopted: ~/~, /~:
