RESOLUTION NO. 5060 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chlnnock, Graher~ <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Sinagrs, Usher <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and.directzng the Finance Director of <br />the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assess~ <br />ment levied on permanent parcel number 315-03-61, and known for street <br />numbering purposes as 1622 Parkwood Road, Lakewood, Ohio, on the Cuyahoga <br />County Auditor's recordg and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said <br />special assessment for the years 1975 th:rough 1977. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lskewood has special assessment charged agaznst the <br />property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 36-73, adopted <br />by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 5, 1973, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS~ the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal <br />portion and interest on the special assessment levied oa said parcel pursuant <br />to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of <br />Ohzo, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CII~ OF LAIiEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />SectiOn 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $150.]8 tendered in <br />payment of the principal and interest for the years 1975, 1976 and 1977~ of <br />special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel <br />number 315-03-61 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and <br />levied under Ordinance No. 36-73, adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood on March 5, 1973. <br /> <br />Section 2. That said special assessment as hereznbefore set forth having <br />been accepted as set forth zn Sectzon 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment <br />for the years 1975, 1976 and 1977, levzed under Ordinance No. 36-73, adopted <br />by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 5, 1973, on permanent parcel <br />number 315-03-61 on the County Auditor's Records and further described as <br />being in the Woodsite Land Companys Parkwood Subdivzsion, Volume 65, page <br />32, each annual assessment being in the amount of $50.06. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of <br />Cnyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affi=mative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon i ts2~d-~tion and a~r~al by <br />the M~yor. ~ ~7~: ~~/~ <br />Adopted: ~/~, /~: <br /> <br /> <br />
