RESOLUTION NO. 5103 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, <br /> Sinagra, Usher, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to advertise for bids for the construction of an air structure and appurten- <br />ances to enclose Foster Pool for winter use. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Plans and specifications are being prepared for the <br />aforesaid air structure by the consultants employed by the City, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Lakewood to proceed <br />forthwith with the construction of the aforesaid air structure, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure provid- <br />ing for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore,; <br /> <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of PublicWorks be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of an air structure <br />and appurtenances to enclose Foster Pool in accordance with the plans.and <br />specifications being prepared by the consultant employed by the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Tha~ the advertisement for said bids shall provide <br />for and require that bids for the construction of said air structure and <br />appurtenances for the enclosure of Foster Pool shall be in accordance with <br />said plans and specifications. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmatiVe vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in.force immediately uponits adoptio,. <br /> <br /> Vice President~ <br /> <br />Approved:~)~, ~ /~2~.5" <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
