RESOLUTION NO. 5110 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Magnotto, <br /> Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> A RESOLIrI'ION to commend the Lakewood High School Rangers football <br />team upon becoming the undisputed 1975 New Lake Erie League champions. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood High School Rangers football team was undefeated <br />in league play (7-0) and completed the 1975 high school football season with <br />an outstanding record of nine wins against only one loss, and <br /> <br /> W}~REAS, the Lakewood Rangers were the undisputed champions of the <br />New Lake Erie League in the League's first year of organization, bringing to <br />Lakewood High School its first outright Lake Erie League championship since <br />1967, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Thomas Cousineau, in his first year as head coach, was <br />voted the ~.ew Lake Erie League Coach of the Year and Ranger Michael Strahine <br />was named Player of the Year in said League, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by these outstanding accomplishments the Lakewood High School <br /> Rangers football team has brought due recognition and honor not only to themselves <br /> but to the entire Lakewood community, and such accomplishments should be recog- <br /> nized in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section I. That Lakewood City Council extends its congratulations <br />and commends the Lakewood High School Rangers football team on its outstanding <br />accomplishment in winning the 1975 New Lake Erie League championship. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Lakewood High School <br />Rangers football team, in care of Mrs. Thomas Cousineau, head football coach, <br />Lakewood High School, 14100 Franklin Boulevard, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that <br />a copy of this Reso{ution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting ~ <br />Adopted' '~"~"~'/'~/ 4~'>~J5--~'"~ [~/ President ~ <br /> <br /> Approved :~'/~'~~ ~' ' ~Z~ Acting Mayor ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
