RESOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />5111 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Usher, Brock~an, Graber, <br /> Magnotto, Sinagra, <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, to make applfcation for a <br />Step 1 Facilities Plan Grant. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood is desirous of complying with the <br />amendments to the Water Pollution Control Act of I9{2 by making application <br />for a Step 1 facilities plan grant, and <br /> WHE~REAS, Federal and State Environmental Protection Agencies require <br /> the signature of an aut'horized representative of the City to be affixed to the <br /> grant application, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood is now in a position to file such grant <br /> application and the Director of Public Works is the appropriate representative <br /> of the City to sign said application, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br /> for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and for the further <br /> reason that the Step 1 Facilities Plan Grant should be applied for at the <br /> earliest possible time; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAICEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1, That the Director of Public Works, on behalf of the City <br /> of Lakewood, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to make application <br /> for a Step 1 Facilities Plan Grant. <br /> Section 2.
