RESOLUTION NO. ~ 5121 <br /> <br />BY:Messrs. Usher, Brockman, Chinnock, <br /> Magnotto, Mcbride, Ss%mort, Sinagra <br /> <br /> ~N EP~RGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Safety <br />to enter into a ~ontract or contracts for the purchase of motor vehicle <br />equipment for'the Department of Public Safety. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />ilt provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY T~ COUNCTL OF TIIE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for tile purchase <br />of eight (8) Police Department vehicles and for the sale or trade-in of Police <br />Department vehicles~ with the lowest and best bidders after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resOlution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
