RESOLUTION NO. 5127 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Salmon, Sinagra, Usher, <br /> Brockman, Chinnock, Magnotto, Mcbride <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract or. contracts for <br />the purchase of materials for use in street repair and on other City- <br />owned properties, for a period of one year conm~encing April 1, 1976. <br /> WHEREAS · this resolution constitutes an emergency measure provid- <br />ing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now there£ore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY ~IE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section i. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract or <br /> contracts for the purchase of materials for use in street repair and on <br /> other City-owned properties for a period of one year commencing April 1, <br /> 1976, in accordance with the list of such materials on file in the office <br /> of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and best bidder or bidders <br /> after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br /> vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br /> to Council, it shall take effect and be in force inunediately upon its ad- <br /> optibn and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> " Clerk" / <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
