RESOLUTION NO. 5129 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Magnotto, <br /> Mcbride, Salmon, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend F. Roberts Winter for his public service as <br />a member of the Lakewood City Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 31, 1975 F. Roberts Winter completed ten years <br />of service as a member of the Lakewood Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals <br />and had previously completed twelve years of service as a member of the Lakewood <br />Planning Commission, and <br /> <br /> WHERF~S, Mr. Winter had served as Chairman of the Board for two years <br />and Vice Chairman for two years and was Chairman of the Planning Commission for <br />one year and its Vice Chairman for three years in addition to having previously <br />served as the representative of the City of Lakewood on the Regional Planning <br />Commission for four years, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, throughout his long tenure Mr. Winter has demonstrated out- <br />standing and unselfish devotion to duty and a loyalty to the City of Lakewood, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, he has exemplified the kind of community service provided <br />by individual citizens through the years in serving, not for recognition or <br />reward, but because of sincere interest in the progress and welfare of his <br />community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that such dedication and the years <br />of public service rendered by Mr~ Winter be given public cognizance and recogni- <br />tion; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to F. Roberts Winter its <br />appreciation and that of all the citizens of this community for his many years <br />of dedicated civic minded,public service as a member of the Lakewood City <br />Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals, and further that this <br />Council wishes him continued years of health and prosperity. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to F.
