RESOLUTIO~ NO.: 5166 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs, Brockman, Chinnock,,Magnotto, <br /> McBride~ Salmon, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract for the purchase of approximately 315,000 gallons <br />of No. 2 Diesel F~uel for a period of one year commencing November 1, 1976. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant and various~ other City deoartments with No. 2 Diesel Fuel for their <br />ooerations, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property and for <br />the usual daily o.peration of these municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase <br />of the necessary reauirements of No. 2 Diesel Fuel for a period of one <br />year beginning No~ember 1, 1976, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and <br />various other City departments, with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Secti~or 2.
