Brockman, Chinnock, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Sinagr~, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to advertise for bids for remodeling of the Senior Center and Office on <br />Aging and the purchase of kitchen equipment for this building, and to enter <br />into contract or contracts with the lowest and best bidders after approval <br />by Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared for this <br />~roject by the consultants employed by the City and are on file in the <br />Engineer's office, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds for this oroject and the purchase of kitchen <br />equipment are available through a Community Development Block Grant, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Lakewood to proceed <br />with the remodeling of the building located at 16024 Madison, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the )irec~or of Public Works be, and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the remodeling of the building located <br />at 16024 Madison and the ourcnase of kitchen equipment in accordance with <br />plans and specifications prepared by the consultant employed by the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the advertisement for said bids shall provide for <br />and require that bids for the remodeling and for the purchase of kitchen <br />equipment shall be in accordance with said plans and .specifica.tions. <br /> <br /> Section 3. -hat funds are available through a Community Development <br />Block Grant. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby <br />authorized to en~e~ into contract or contracts with the lowest and best <br />bidders after approval by Council. <br /> <br /> Section 5.
