RESOLUTION NO. 5187 BY: Messrs. Salmon, Sinagra, Ush.er, B~oc~man, Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION requesting the Auditor of Cuyahoga. Coanty to draw an~ the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood an advance of taxes collected for the year 1977 in such amounts as may be requested and available. WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Revised Code provicles that widen local auth- orities by resolution so req est, the County Aud tot shall draw and the County Treasurer shall pay on such draft to townshzp clerks, treasurers of municipal corporation, s, ~he Clerk of any board of education, and tlm treasurer of any other potitzcai subdivzsion or taxing district whose funds derived from taxes or other sources are payable by law to tile County Treas- urer, any money that may be ~n the county treasury to the accounts of such local authorities; and WIIEREASi It will be necessary for the City of Lakewood to obtain an advance of taxes przor to the regular tax settlement for the year; aod WHEREAS, Th~s resolution constitutes an emergcncy measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public property and for the usual dazly operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVSD BY ~.IlE COUNCIL OF ~I]-IE CI%~f OF I~IKEWOOD, STATE OF 0HIO: Section 1. 2hat the Auditor of C,~ahoga County be requested to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga Connty be r.~equested to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, Stabe of Ohio, an advance of taxes for the year 1977 in such amount as may be requested of him and which are avazl- able, Section 2.
