RESOLUTION NO. 5208 BY; Messrs. Sinagra, Usher, Brockman, Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, Salmon AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directinq the Director of Public Works to advertise for bids for the purchase and installation of the necessary carpetinq and furnishinos for the new Senior Center and Office on Aging, in accordance with the plans and specifications, WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure provid- ing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and, WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared for the afore- said Senior Center and Office on Aqino by the architect employed by the City, and, WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Lakewood to supply carpeting and furnishings for certain Pertions of the Senior Center and Office on Aging, now, therefore, OHIO: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase and installation of carpeting and furnishings for the new Senior Center and Office on Aging in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the architect employed by the City. Section 2. That the advertisement for said bids shall provide for and require that bids for the purchase and installation of carpeting and furnishines shall be in accordance with said plans and specifications. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall be deemed to be in effect upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. ~:~aent Mayor
