Please substitute for <br />Resolution furnished with <br />Docket <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5287 <br /> Brockman, <br /> McBride <br />AN fI~ERG~gCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor as ex-officio <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for a now <br />roof for the Service Garage for the Department of Public Works of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Salmon, Usher, <br /> Brown~ Magnott. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in <br />that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and <br />welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as ex-officio Director of Public Works <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for a new roof for the Service Garage in the Department of <br />Public Works with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The funds required for this work shall be provided from <br />the General Fund - Public Lands and Buildings Account. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />~asure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided in receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor; otherwise it shall take effect and be in force at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. ~//~z~ f <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
