RESOLUTION NO. 5312 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Salmon, Brockman, Brown, <br /> Chinnock, Magnotto <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authoriz'ing and directing the Mayor, on behalf <br />of the City of Lakewood, to execute and file a grant application with <br />the Department of Outdoor Recreation, State of Ohio and to provide all <br />information and documentation required in federal applications for <br />submission to the Federal Bureau of Outdoor Recreation. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 <br />(Public Law 88-578) provides financial assistance to the State of Ohio <br />for outdoor recreation purposes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood desires financial assistance under the <br />Land and Water Conservation Fund Act program. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to file a grant application for <br />Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Act financial assistance. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Mayor, as chief executive for the City of <br />Lakewood, hereby does agree to obligate the funds required to satis- <br />factorily complete the proposed project and thus become eligible for <br />band and Water Conservation Fund Act financial aid of 50% of the <br />actual allowable reimbursement cost. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members e!ected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br /> <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br />Adopted ~c~'~2/ <br /> <br />Approved.~.-/,,~? 4, /~.7°~9 <br /> <br /> <br />
