RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5320 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Brockman, Brown, Chinnock <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor as ex-officio <br />Director of Public Works to enter lnto a contract for the purchase <br />of a Salt Storage Building for the Division of Public Works of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public <br />safety and welfare, and for the usual daily operation of municpal <br />departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as ex-officio Director of <br />Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract for the purchase of a Salt Storage Building for <br />ths Division of Public Works with the lowest and best bidder or <br />bidders after advertisement according to law, providin9 bid is not <br />In excess of $24,500. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Th~s Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative~ vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
