RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />5325 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. ChJnnock, Magnotto, McBride, <br />Satmon, Brockman, Brown <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor as <br />Director of Safety to enter into a contract for the purchase <br />of a four-door half-ton suburban type station wagon as a <br />replacement for a similar type vehicle now in use by the <br />Division of Fire of the City of Lakewood,. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for. the immediate preservation of <br />the public safety and welfare, and for the usual daily operation <br />of municpal departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAREWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as Director of Safety <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />a contract for the purchase of a four-door half-ton suburban <br />type station wagon as a replacement for a similar type vehicle <br />now in use in the Division of Fire with the lowest and best <br />bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ReSolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shal.1 take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br /> <br /> / Cler~/ <br /> <br />A~prove _ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
