RESOLUTION NO. 5337 <br /> <br />BY: Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendling, Brockman, Brown <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor as Ex-Officio Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract for the repair of all ramps, <br />curbs and floors to the South Municipal Parking Garage, after advertis- <br />ing according to law. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to provide safety for vehicular and pedestrian traffic <br />using the garage for everyday parkin§, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the immediate preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Mayor as EX-Officio Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for <br />the repair of all ramps, curbs, and floors to the South Municipal Parking <br />Garage after advertising according to law; <br /> <br />Sec:tion 2. Cost Of this. improyement shall be charged to the Parking <br />Facilities Fund. Improvement shal] not exceed $30,O00. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative cote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shalt take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~ /o/, /¢ ~('~ <br /> <br />Approved: ~)~/. <br /> <br /> <br />
