RESOLUTION NO. ~5347 BY: <br /> <br />Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, <br />Wendling, Brockman, Brown, <br />Chinnock <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor as ex-officio <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of the necessary requirements of Valves and Pipe Fittings for <br />the period of one year conumencing January 1, 1979, for use in the Division <br />of Water, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution provides for the in~ediate preservation of <br />the public property and welfare and for the usual daily operation Qf a <br />municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as ex-officio Director of Public Works <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves and <br />pipe fittings for the year 1979 for use in the Divislon of Water, with the <br />lowest and best bidder or bidders, after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />i~ediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council and is approved by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:~ ~f/~ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
