RESOLUTION NO. 5348 BY: <br /> <br />McBride, Salmon, Wendling, <br />Brockman, Brown, Chinnock, <br />Magnotto <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor as ex-officio <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for the <br />purchase of the necessary items of Fire Hydrants and Fire Hydrant Parts <br />for a period of one year commencing January 1, 1979. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS', this resolution provides for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property and welfare and for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LJLKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as ex-officio Director of Public Works <br />be and he is hereby a~thorized and directed to enter into a requirement <br />contract for the purchase of'the necessary items of fire hydrants and <br />fire hydrant parts for a period of one year, commencing January 1, 1979, <br />with the lowest and belst bidder, after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately prOvided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, and is approved by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
