RESOLUTION NO. 5350 BY: Magnotto, McBride, Salmon, Wendling, Brockman, Brown,Chinnock A RESO~JTION accepting the amounts and rates as determin~t by ihe Budget Commission and authorizing 'the necessary tax levies and certifying th~n to the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. WIEEREAS, this Council in accx)rdance with the provisions of ]aw has previously · adopted a tax budget for the next succeeding fiscal year coranenCing Janu~ 1, 1979, and WHEI~S, the Budget Commission of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio, has certified its action thereon to this Council together with an estimate by the ~)nnty Auditor of the rate of each t~x necessary to be levied by this Council, and what part thereof is witi~out, and what part is withzn, the ~0 mzll tax limitation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~ CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the amotmts andrates, ~s deten~ined by the Budget Commission in its certification, be and the same are hereby accepted. Thkt the: Clerkof this Council be and she is hereby directed to certify a-copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of said County. Section 4. That this resolu.tion is hereby declared to be an emergency measure providing for 'the irmmdiate preservation of public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is imnediately necessary to adopt and certify ~o the County Auditor the City's acceptance of the levies of tmxes to be made om the 1978 duplicate for collection in 1979 in order to comply wmth the statutes of the State and to provide sources of revenue for municipal operation doting 19~9, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of al 1 members elected to Council, it sha] 1 take effect and be in force trade,lately upon! its Adopted:
