RESOLUTION NO. 5487 BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Cbinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br />McBride,,Salmon <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directinglthe Mayor to enter <br />into a contract with Xerox Computer Services for the purpose of leasing a <br />computer terminal and providing the software applications necessary for a <br />financial management system. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergencylmeasure in that it <br />provides for the immediate preservation of the public health and welfare and <br />for the ususal daily operation of a municipal department~ now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE~OOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the Mayor of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Xerox Computer Services <br />for the purpose of ]easing a computer terminal and providing the software <br />applications necessary for a financial management system. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Funds required for the purpose set forth in Section 1. <br />hereof shall be and the same are hereby appropriated from the general revenue <br />sharing funds. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />App roved <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
