RESOLUTION NO. 5503 BY: Grahaml, McBride, Salmon, <br /> WendliNg, Brown, Gallagher <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase Of the necessary <br />requirements of Valves and Pipe Fittings for the periodlof one year <br />commencing January 1, 1981, for use in the Division of Water, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution provides for the irmnediate preservation of <br />the public property and welfare and for the usual dailyloperation of a <br />municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAIiEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of the necessary requirements of Valves and Pipe Fittings for <br />the year 1981 for use in the Division of Water, with th~ lowest and best <br />bidder or bidders, after advertisement according to law~ <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effectland be in force <br />immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council and is approved by the M~yor. <br /> <br /> <br />
