RESOLUTION N0. 5673 By; .Brown, Chinnock, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of certain capital improvements and replacement of equipment for the Department of Public Works as authorized by the 1982 appropriation ordinance. WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation. of the public health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, Bf IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the following capital improvements and replacement of equipment as authorized by the 1982 appropriation ordinance with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law: A. DIVISION OF ENGINEERING 1. Compact passenger vehicle - City Engineer. B. DIVISION OF STREETS 1. Sidewalk Repair. 2. Two (2) - 40,000 GVW Dump trucks. 3. Salt spreader box. 4. One ton pick up truck. 5. 25,000 GVW Dump truck. 6. 25,000 GUW signal service truck. 7. Compact passenger vehicle. C. DIVISION OF PARKING 1. Compact passenger vehicle. D, DIVISION OF WASTEWATER - Plant, Collections, Catch Basin 1. Two 3/4 ton pick up trucks. E. DIVISION OF PARKS 1. New roof -City Nall. 2. Tennis Court Improvements - Lakewood Park-base,. drainage, elec- trical. 3, Ballfield light replacement - Kauffman Park. 4. Plumbing Replacement-Madison Park. 5.
