RESOLUTION N0. 5689 gy: BroWn, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, <br /> Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend George M. Khoury for his public service as a <br /> Foreman in the Division of Streets, Sewers and Sidewalks, Department of Public <br /> <br /> Works of the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective May 28, 1982, George M. Khoury <br /> completed 29 years and one month of public service as an employee of the Division <br /> of Streets, Sewers and Sidewalks, Department of Public Works of the City of <br /> Lakewood, serving as parking meter Foreman at the time of his retirement, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the City, George M. Khoury was recog- <br /> nized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service not only <br /> to the Department of Public Works but to the entire community as well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br /> parking meter Foreman George M. Khoury be given public cognizance and recog- <br /> nition; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to George <br /> M. Khoury its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community <br /> for his 29 years and one month of public service as an employee in the Division <br /> of Streets, Sewers and Sidewalks, Department of Public Works of the City of <br /> Lakewood, and further that this Council wishes him continued years of health, <br /> happiness and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereiby authorized <br /> and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to George M.
