<br /> RESOLUTION N0. 5706 BY: Brawn, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend John J. Des Forges for his public service as <br /> a Firefighter of the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective August 1, 1982, Firefighter John <br /> J. Des Forges completed 36z years of public service as a firefighter of the City <br /> of Lakewood, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Fire Department, Fire- <br /> fighter John J. Des Forges was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who <br /> rendered outstanding service not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to <br /> the entire community as well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br /> Firefighter John J. Des Forges be given public cognizance and recognition; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Fire- <br /> fighter John J. Des Forges its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of <br /> this community for his 36Z years of public service as a firefighter of the City <br /> of Lakewood and further that this Council wishes him continued years of health, <br /> happiness, and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Firefighter John <br /> J.
