RESOLUTION N0. 5786-83 BY: Brown, CHinnock; Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION to commend Robert E„ Christner for his public service as Assistanr Superintendent in the ivision ofi Parks and Public Grounds, Department of Public Works in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS., upon his retirement effedtive July 22, 1983, Robert E. Christ- ner will have completed 34 y~.~ars and three weeks of public service as an employee of the Division of Parks and Public Grounds, Department of Public Works of the City of Lake~~rood, and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the City, Robert E. Chistner, pro- moted from Foreman A to Assistant Superintendent on May 7, 1978, was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service not only to the Department of Public Works, but to the eni.ire community as well, and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Robert E. Christner be given public cognizarjce am; recognition; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 11HE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Robert E. Christner its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his more than 34 years of public service as an employee in the Division of Parks and Public Grounds, Department of Public Works of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council wishes him continued years of health, happiness, and prosperity in his retirement., Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Robert E.
