RESOLUTION N0. 5823-84 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBriiie, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION to commend Rosemary Dempsey for her public service as a volunteer Coordinator in the Department of Office on Aging in the City of Lake- wood. WHEREAS, upon her retirement on December 30, 1983., Rosemary Dempsey completed seven years eight months of public service as Volunteer Coordinator of the Department of Office on Aging of the City of Lakewood, and WHEREAS, during her tenure with the City, Rosemary Dempsey was recog- nized a a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service not only to he Office on Aging, but to the entire community as well, and WHERAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Rosemary Dempsey be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Rose- mary De psey its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for her seven years and eight and one-half months as Volunteer Coordinator for the Off ce on Aging of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council wishes h r continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in her retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and dir cted to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Rosemary Dempsey, 15726 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, 44107, and that a copy of this Resoluti n be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
