rl A`""M E N D E D RESOLUTION N0. 5841-84 gy; Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Finance to pay the cost of memberships of municipal employees and/or departments and divisions in certain. associations for the year 1984, and. declar- ing such memberships to be in the public interest. WHEREAS, memberships of municipal employees. in organizations are designeJ to enhance the operation of municipal departments. by the exchange of ideas, information and experience to the public benefit, and WHEREAS., this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety, and for the usual daily operation of municipal depart- ments; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That memberships in the following organizations and associations by employees and/or departments or divisions of the City of Lakewood are hereby declared to be in the: public interest: American Arbitration Association American Institute of Certified Planners American Planning Association American Planning Association American Judicature Society American Management Association American Nurses Association American.
