RESOLUTION N0. 5898-85 8Y: Brown, Chinncock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Finance to pay the cost <br /> of memberships of municipal employees and/or Departments and Divisions in <br /> certain associations for the year 1985, and declaring such memberships to be <br /> in the public interest. <br /> WHEREAS, memberships of municipal employees in organizations are designed to <br /> enhance the operation of municipal departments by the exchange of ideas, in- <br /> formation and experience to the public benefit, and <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br /> immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety, <br /> and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
