<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5954-85 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Maxine E. Thomas for her public <br /> service as an employee in the Department of Office on Aging in <br /> the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon her retirement effective May 1, 1985, <br /> Maxine E. Thomas, completed ten years and eleven months of public <br /> service as an employee of the Department of Office on Aging of <br /> the City of Lakewood, serving as Clerk-Receptionist since March <br /> 1, 1983, and <br /> WHEREAS, during her tenure with the City, Maxine E. <br /> Thomas was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who <br /> rendered outstanding service not only to the Department of Office <br /> on Aging, but to the entire community as well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public ser- <br /> vice rendered by Maxine E. Thomas be given public cognizance and <br /> recognition; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE WOOD, <br /> STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood <br /> extends to Maxine E. Thomas its appreciation and that of all of <br /> the citizens of this community for her ten years and eleven <br /> months of public service as an employee in the Department of <br /> Office on Aging of the City of Lakewood and further that this <br /> Council wishes her continued years of health, happiness, and <br /> prosperity in her retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br /> this Resolution to Maxine E.
