RESOLUTION N0. 5960-85 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A; RESOLUTION to commend Robert R. Corbin, Jr., for his public service <br /> as a Police Officer of the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement June 4, 1985, Patrolman Robert R. Corbin, <br /> Jr., completed thirty years of public service as a member of the Division of <br /> Police, Department of Public Safety, and <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Police Department, Patrol- <br /> man Corbin was recognized as a loyal and dedicated police officer who rendered <br /> outstanding service not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the <br /> entire community we well, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br /> Robert R. Corbin, Jr., be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends to Patrol- <br /> man Robert R. Corbin, Jr., its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of <br /> this community for his thirty years of public service as a police officer of the <br /> City of Lakewood and further that this Council wishes him continues years of <br /> health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Patrolman Robert <br /> R.
