RESOLUTION N0. 5985-85 BY' Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br /> of Public Works to sell, through a public auction, various obsolete <br /> and non-functioning City vehicles andlor equipment. (See attached <br /> list). Legal notices will be published advising the public of the <br /> auction. <br /> Whereas, it is in the best interest of the City to sell this <br /> obsolete and non-functioning equipment to make better use of the <br /> space it occupies and to realize a profit from the sale, and, <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure provid- <br /> ing for the immediate preservation of the public health and welfare <br /> and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, <br /> therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE LAKEW000, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to sell, through a public auction, <br /> various obsolete and non-functioning City vehicles and/or equipment <br /> after advertising according to law. <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br /> <br /> = providgd it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br /> members elected to.
