RESOLUTION N0. 5995-85 BY: Brown, Ghinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION to enact a policy of purchasing recycled paper. <br /> WHEREAS, the City uses approximately 41 tons of paper <br /> annually, and <br /> WHEREAS, the use of large quantities of paper has a direct <br /> impact upon our environment by the use of our natural resources, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City should take a leadership role in using <br /> recycled paper in order to preserve our natural resources and to <br /> lessen the impact upon our environment; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood <br /> expresses its strong support and recommends to the City administration <br /> that where possible they purchase recycled paper. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to forward certifed copy of this resolution to Mayor <br /> Anthony C.
