Wentz for his years <br /> of public service as a Firefighter of the City of Lakewood. <br /> WHEREAS, Jack' R. Wentz was appointed to the Division of <br /> Eire, Department of Pub is Safety on June 16, 1963, and promoted to <br /> the rank of Captain on M y 8, 1977, and <br /> WHEREAS, dur'ng his tenure with the Lakewood Fire <br /> Department, Captain W ntz was recognized as a loyal and dedicated <br /> Firefighter who rende ed outstanding service not only to the <br /> Department of Public Saf ty, but to the entire community as well, and <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement December 31, 1985, Captain <br /> Wentz completed thirty- wo years, six and one-half months of public <br /> service as a member of the Division of Fire, Department of Public <br /> Safety, and <br /> WHEREAS, such edication to duty and years of public service <br /> should be recognized in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood extends <br /> to Captain Jack R. Wentz its appreciation and that of all of the <br /> citizens of this commu ity for his more than thirty-two years of <br /> public service as a Firefighter of the City of Lakewood, and further <br /> that this Council wishes im continued years of health, happiness and <br /> prosperity in his retirem nt. <br /> Section 2. Th t the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br /> authorized and directed t forward a certified copy of this Resolution <br /> to Captain Jack R.
