Mazurek for his years of public service as an emp oyee in the Division of Fire, Department of Public Safety of the Cit of Lakewood. WHEREAS, Edwa d M. Mazurek was appointed Secretary/Clerk in the Division of Fire, D partment of Public Safety on January 2, 1946, and promoted to Admini trative Aide to the Chief of the Division of Eire on March 1, 1983, a d WHEREAS, duci g his long tenure with the City, Mr. Mazurek was recognized as a oyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service not m y to trie Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community s well, and WHEREAS, upon his retirement January 2, 1986, Mr. Mazuek completed forty years f service as an employee of the Division of Fire and it is £itti g and proper that his many years of public service be given public ognizance and recognition; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. Tlat this Countil extends to Edward M. Mazurek its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his forty years of public service as an employee in the Division of Eire of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council wishes him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement.
