~ \r1 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 6161-87 By; Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> A RESOLUTION extending sincere appreciation to The Lakewood <br /> Jaycees for its co-sponsorship of the United States Constitution <br /> Poster Contest and underwriting the monetary prize awards. <br /> WHEREAS, The Lakewood Jaycees, together with The United <br /> States Constitution/Centennial Commission co-sponsored the U.S. <br /> Constitution Poster Contest to create a keen awareness of the meaning <br /> of the Constitution of the United States within the youth of our <br /> community, and <br /> WHEREAS, over 100 posters were submitted by contestants and <br /> the 12 winners shared $200 in prize money, which funds were provided <br /> by The Lakewood Jaycees, and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council wishes to express to The Lakewood <br /> Jaycees its sincere appreciation fox co-sponsoring the poster contest <br /> and underwriting the monetary prize award; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OE OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to The Lakewood <br /> Jaycees its sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of all of the <br /> citizens of this community for its generous gift to the City in the <br /> underwriting of the monetary prize awards fox the U.S. Constitution <br /> Poster Contest and for its continued support of civic endeavors and <br /> community activities. <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this <br /> resolution to Steven Lorenz, President of The Lakewood Jaycees, 2217 <br /> E1bur Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, 44107, and that a copy of this <br /> resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> Adopted: <br /> P SIDENT <br /> CLERK <br /> e <br /> Approved~~~~J~ <br /> M YOR <br /> <br />
