RESOLUTION N0. blg2-87 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, Salmon, Wendling A RESOLUTION extending sincere appreciation to Wilma Draganik, for her reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America at the Lakewood City Council Meeting held September 8, 1987. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has formally expressed its intent to participate in the Bicentennial Celebration of the Northwest Ordinance and the United States Constitution, and WHEREAS, as a part of that participation, at each regularly scheduled meeting of this Council for the balance of the year 1987 a member of the Lakewood community is invited to read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America, and WHEREAS, Wilma Draganik, a Lakewood resident for more than 30 years and a member of the Board of the Lakewood Commission on Aging, Inc. since 1982, graciously accepted Council's invitation to read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States at the Council Meeting held September 8, 1987, for which Council wishes to express its appreciation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OE THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council extends to Wilma Draganik, its sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of all of the citizens of the Lakewood community, for her reading aloud the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America at the Lakewood City Council meeting held September 8, 1987. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Wilma (Mrs. Jan) Draganik, 15555 Hilliard Road, Lakewood, Ohio, 44107, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread on the minutes of this meeting.
