RESOLUTION N0. 6267^88 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gazzana, George, Graham, Wendling A RESOLUTION extending sincere appreciation to Cleveland West Kappa Delta Alumni Association for its generous gift to the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, Kappa Delta Sorority has supported the National Committee For Prevention of Child Abuse (N.C.P.C.A.1 since 1980, and WHEREAS, The Cleveland West Xappa Delta Alumni Association recently conducted its annual Shamrock Project for the benefit of the child abuse prevention program developed and implemented by the City`s Youth Office, and WHEREAS, the sum of $100.00 representing the profit from the Shamrock sales has been donated to the City for the unrestricted use and benefit of the Lakewood Prevents Abuse Program, and WHEREAS, this Council wishes to express to Cleveland West Kappa Delta Alumni Association its sincere appreciation for its generous gift and to thank Kappa Delta once again for its expression of concern for the welfare of the youth of this community; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council extends to Cleveland West Kappa Delta Alumni Association its sincere appreciation and thanks, and that of all of the citizens of this community for its generous gift to be used for the benefit of the youth of the City of Lakewood. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Cheryl Weaver, President of the Cleveland West Kappa Delta Alumni Association, 1081 Nicholson Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, 44107, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
