RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6361-89 <br /> <br />BY: Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Gazzana, George, Graham, <br /> Wend 1 ing <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION extending the time for action by the <br />Planning Commission pursuant to Article XV, Section 4 of the Amended <br />Charter of the City of Lakewood on Ordinance No. 76-88. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance NO. 76-88 was referred to the Planning <br />Commission on February 21, 1989, and it is in the public interest that <br />the Commission have additional time for review and consideration of <br />the proposed ordinance, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the public health, safety and welfare; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That pursuant to Article XV, Section 4 of the <br />Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood the period for review by the <br />Planning Commission of Ordinance 76-88, referred to it February 21, <br />1989, is and hereby shall be extended until June 20, 1989. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this <br />resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that <br />all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br />that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the <br />public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take <br />effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
