RESOLUTION NO. 6392-89 <br /> <br /> BY: Brow~, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />George, Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor Lakewood Hospital Teen Volunteers in <br />recognition of their dedicated service to Lakewood Hospital and the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lakewood Hospital Teen Volunteers have <br />steadfastedly and unselfishly contributed to the general welfare of <br />their community by their service at Lakewood Hospital, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the volunteer services given by these outstanding <br />young men and women contribute significantly to our community by <br />relieving hospital employees and assisting them, by reducing the <br />overall cost of healty care, by improving conditions for our citizens <br />as patients at Lakewood Hospital and by generally enhancing the <br />quality of health care services at Lakewood Hospital, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, these Teen Volunteers demonstrate the highest <br />standards of community involvement and the best qualities of <br />leadershiP, dedication and community service in our young people, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such public service by Lakewood's youth is <br />deserving of appropriate recognition and appreciation and should be' <br />pointed to with pride as a further example to all our citizens and the <br />peers of these Teen Volunteers; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extends to the <br />Lakewood Hospital Teen Volunteers, in honor and recognition of their <br />dedicated public service, their appreciation and the appreciation of <br />all of the citizens of this community for their outstanding <br />contribution to the safety and welfare of the citizens of Lakewood and <br />the quality of health care services at Lakewood Hospital. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the <br />Lakewood Hospital Teen Volunteer Unit at Lakewood Hospital, 14519 <br />Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, and that a copy of the resolution be <br />spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved:..~~~4~2 ~[ /~ <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
