RESOLUTION NO. 6400-89 <br /> <br /> BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />George, Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend the late Dennis Merritt for his public <br />service as a member of the Lakewood Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Dennis Merritt was appointed by the Mayor of the City of <br />Lakewood to serve on the Lakewood Planning Commission for an unexpired term <br />of two years, and he served this important board as an active member; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure as member of the Lakewood Planning <br />Commission, Dennis Merritt demonstrated his deep and genuine interest in the <br />preservation and future development of our community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered <br />by the late Dennis Merritt be given public recognition, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the City of Lakewood honor the memory of Dennis <br />Merritt and extend deepest sympathy to his family on his passing. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the <br />family of Dennis Merritt, 1544 Lincoln Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that <br />a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved~f_~~~/ /~. <br /> <br /> <br />
