RESOLUTION NO. 6471-90 <br /> <br />ooscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br />George, Graham, Roth, Smitt <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to welcome you as a new resident of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood is happy <br />that you have chosen to live here and is pleased to serve as your <br />representatives in local government, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 21, 1986, it came before the Council of <br />the City of Lakewood that giving new residents information <br />regarding some basic laws and policies concerning their new <br />community may convey to them that the City is interested in <br />assisting them; making them feel "at home" more quickly, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the various city codes help to assure the <br />community pride, by which the history of the city is <br />distinguished, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the comfortable living here may continue <br />through knowledge of basic laws and policies such as parking and <br />refuse regulations, recycling guidelines, pet information and <br />community development programs, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, and all of the citizens of the <br />City of Lakewood, wishes to warmly welcome you as a new resident <br />of this community; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
