RESOLUTION NO. 6502-90 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Gallagher, Gazzana, George, <br />Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION, honoring James Westfall former member <br />of the Lakewood Civil Service Commission. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, James Westfa!t served on the lakewood Civil <br />Service Commission from J~ly 31, 1988 until May 19, 1990 and, <br />as President of the Commission from January 5, 19~9 until May <br />19, 1990, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during this time James Westfall provided <br />this Commission with effective and capable leadership, <br />unselfishly gave of his time and constantly used the skills and <br />expertise for which he is known to guide and assist the members <br />of this Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, James Westfall served on the Commission for <br />one year, nine months and eighteen days as provided by law; now <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public <br />service rendered by James Westfall as a member of the Civil <br />Service Commission be given public cognizance and recognition; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to James <br />Westfall its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of <br />this community for his public service as a member of the <br />Lakewood Charter Review Commission and his outstanding <br />contribution to the significant accomplishments of said <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Section 2.
